When Your Sister Gets Married...
In the summer, my baby sister got married at the incredible Barn at Baron's Hill Farm. I was hit with a dilemma: to photograph or not to photograph? On the one hand, I wanted her to have everything she wanted and being a bit of a control freak: I was scared of handing over the reins to anyone else! But on the other hand, I knew I just wouldn't be able to enjoy the day if I was working all of it. We compromised, and I asked one of my closest friends- the super talented Georgina over at Panache Photography- to shoot the first part of the day; and I would cover the rest. We definitely made the right decision! Georgina's style is very similar to mine, so she covered everything with her super photography ninja skills, and then I was able to take over to get some pretty evening shots.
I later designed and ordered my sister's album with the fabulous people over at QTAlbums and the album was just stunning, my first ever official collaboration with another photographer!
Becca and Jim's wedding was amazing, and i'm not just saying that because she's my sister! It was relaxed and so personal to them. If you're looking for a venue and want something that you can totally make yours, I couldn't recommend Baron's Hill more. Becca and Jim celebrated with a Cider Festival inspired wedding with straw bales, local cider, live music and Pie 'n' Mash.
Congratulations Mr and Mrs Carr (now give me some nieces and nephews!)
